BAGYONG Maring Update: #MaringPH Now a Tropical Storm, Moving Out of PH

Tropical Depression Maring, aka Bagyong Maring, is expected to make landfall on Tuesday afternoon. Though #MaringPH is a relatively weak cyclone, it is expected to bring heavy rainfall in several areas and enhance the southwest monsoon.

According to the latest weather bulletin by PAGASA, Bagyong Maring is expected to make landfall near Aurora, Quezon on Tuesday afternoon. Moderate to occasionally heavy rainfall will be experienced over Bicol region, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Metro Manila, Central Luzon and Pangasinan.

UPDATE: As of 10:00 PM, Bagyong Maring was spotted 145 km West Southwest of Iba, Zambales. #MaringPH has intensified packing winds of up to 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph. Tropical Storm Maring is moving West Northwest at 15 kph.
