Oil Price Forecast: Gasoline Prices to Rise Again, Diesel to Go Down August 14

Another round of oil price adjustments on August 14 are scheduled, and it isn’t good news to gasoline users. But motorists using diesel will have a some respite from the series of price increases the past weeks.

According to the Department of Energy, the projected price adjustments in gasoline, diesel and kerosene prices are as follows:

Gasoline prices will increase by around P0.45 per liter,
Diesel will decrease by around P0.05 per liter, and
Kerosene will decrease by around P0.05 per liter.

Take note that are merely the projected adjustments. we will know the final prices when these are announced by the Philippines’ oil players on Monday. Implementation is on Tuesday, August 14.
