Criminal charges have been filed against John Paul Solano, Ralph Trangia and other Aegis Juris members.

John Paul Solano, an Aegis Juris fraternity member who surrendered to authorities last week, was charged with murder, perjury, obstruction of justice, robbery and violation of the Anti-Hazing Law. Solano admitted bringing Castillo to the Chinese General Hospital though he initially lied about finding Atio’s body on a sidewalk in Balut, Tondo.

Solano was set to tell all about the hazing death of Atio Castillo during a Senate hearing on Monday but decided to defer his testimony after murder charges were filed against him. Instead, he divulged the names of this involved in the hazing of Horacio Castillo III in a closed door Senate executive session.

The list of those charged with murder and violation of the Anti-Hazing Law are the following:

John Paul Solano
Ralph Trangia
Antonio Trangia (father of Ralph and the owner of the red pickup that brought Castillo’s body to the hospital)
Arvin R. Balag
Mhin Wei R. Chan
Ranie Rafael Santiago
Oliver John Audrey B. Onofre
Jason Adolfo Robiños
Danielle Hans Matthew Rodrigo
Karl Mathew Villanueva
Joshua Joriel Macabali
Axel Munro Hipe
Marc Anthony Ventura
Aeron Salientes
Marcelino Bagtang
Zimon Padro
Jose Miguel Salamat

Aside from Solano, all those charged are at large. Ralph Trangia escaped to the United States last week with his mother and this is the reason why Mrs. Trangia has been charged with obstruction of justice.
