WATCH Tearful Farewell of OFW & the Saudi Family She Served for 33 Years

Once in a while, we encounter heartfelt stories about overseas Filipino workers far different from the ones about deceit, abuse and even death that we usually read about. Once such story was the recent feature about OFW Dina Tenerife Celo who received a house and lot from her employer for her dedication. Here’s another one.

A video of an OFW leaving her employer’s family after 33 years of service is now going viral. The OFW is unnamed and details about her employer and  employment are unavailable. But the manner of their parting leaves one to conclude that there was love, loyalty and mutual respect from both parties.

Posted by Anthony Enriquez and dubbed ‘Farewell in the airport’, it shows the wheelchair-bound OFW saying goodbye to her employer, her employer’s kids and even the grandchildren in tears.

“Nagpapaalam na ang isang Filipina OFW sa Middle East na nanilbihan bilang DH sa loob ng 33 na taon . Sya yung nag – alaga sa mga anak at apo ng kanyang amo simula pa ng mga bata sila . Naka wheelchair na po cya . Mabuhay po kayo nay idol ka namin dito ☺️👌 ..” Enriquez wrote.

“A Filipina working as a House maid for ( 33 years ) and she took care of them since their childhood and also their children , saying goodbye 👋 to her employeer 😰😰 ..”
