OIL PRICE ROLLBACK Feb. 13: Gasoline, Diesel Price Cuts Bring Relief to Motorists

After a series of price increases, local oil companies have announced price cuts on gasoline and diesel effective Tuesday, February 13. The decreases reflect the downtrend in international market prices the past week.

In separate (but identical, who are you fooling? #cartel) announcements made on Monday, local petroleum retailers said they will cut the price of gasoline by P1.00 per liter and diesel by P1.30 per liter. The price of kerosene will also be cut, by P0.85 per liter.

Some of the price adjustments will take effect at midnight tonight (SeaOil etc.) while others will be effective by 6:00 AM tomorrow, Tuesday (Eastern Petroleum, Phoenix Petroleum, and Shell).
