Prices of Gasoline, Diesel & Kerosene Increase Again November 7, Tuesday

A new round of oil price increases will take effect tomorrow, November 7. Gasoline and diesel prices will go up as well as kerosene. The new prices were announced by local oil producers and retailers Monday.

According to separate announcements made earlier today, the price of gasoline will go up by P0.90 per liter. Meanwhile, diesel will also increase by P0.55 per liter and kerosene by P0.75 per liter.

The price increases were announced by Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex), Flying V, Petron Corp., Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., SEAOIL Philippines Inc., Eastern Petroleum Corp., Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc., and Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc.. Other oil players are expected to make similar announcements.

The increases will take effect by midnight tonight for some companies while others will implement the adjustments at 6:00 AM Tuesday.

International market trends as well as the exchange rate of the peso are the causes of the increase.
