#WalangPasok Class Suspension Announcements Sept. 5 Due to Heavy Rains

Are classes suspended today, September 5, due to continuous heavy rain? #WalangPasok is trending again on Twitter with many students and parents asking why classes have not been suspended. But, as of this writing, LGUs and schools have not announced class cancellations despite reports that many areas are already flooded.

Students await #WalangPasok / class suspension announcements as heavy rain continues in Metro Manila.

There has been torrential downpour since early this morning in Metro Manila. While there is no storm signal from Bagyong Kiko, the storm has enhanced the southwest monsoon to bring heavy rain in many parts of Luzon. Surprisingly, there has been no class cancellations in Metro Manila yet though rains is pouring heavily now.

On Twitter, many students and parents are asking why there has been no class suspension despite the very obvious reasons. Flooding has already been reported in several areas.
