#WALANGPASOK Classes Cancelled Feb. 13 Due to Storm #BasyangPH

As the threat of Tropical Storm #BasyangPH continues, classes have been suspended in several areas of the Visayas and Minadano. Bagyong Basyang is yet to make landfall but tropical storm signals have already been raised in a a vast area of the south.

According to the latest weather bulletin from PAGASA at 8:00 PM Monday, #BasyangPH was located 355 km East Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur an hour earlier. It was packing maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph, and was moving at 25 kph in a west northwest direction.

Based on the latest #walangpasok announcements, classes are cancelled in the following areas tomorrow, Tuesday, February 13.

Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental — all levels (public and private)
Iligan City — all levels
Tacloban City — all levels (public and private)
Cebu Province — all levels (public and private)
