Bagyong Salome continues its trudge across southern prompting suspension of classes in several areas. #WalangPasok has been declared by a number of LGUs due to Salome’s heavy rains which may bring about flooding and landslides in affected areas.

Tropical Depression Salome is a relatively weak cyclone with respect to wind gusts. However, that is not the case with the rains that Bagyong Salome is bringing. Moderate to heavy rainfall within its 200-kilometer radius is expected, according to PAGASA.
