The Canadian model decided to get and eyeball tattoo (sclera tattoo) to change the color of the white part of her eyeball to purple. But now, Gallinger regrets having the procedure done.

On Facebook, Catt Gallinger posted photos of the eyeball tattoo mishap, showing her crying purple tears at one point, and having a swollen purple eyeball.

‘As it stands I will have to see a specialist and am at risk of being blind if it doesn’t get corrected” she said. “This was caused by undiluted ink, over injection, not enough/smaller injections sights.”

‘I am NOT sharing this with you to cause trouble, I am sharing this to warn you to research who you get your procedures by as well as how the procedure should be properly done,’ the model from Ottawa continued.

‘Just please be cautious who you get your mods from and do your research. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.’

Doctors believe her eyeball sustained permanent damage during the procedure.

Asked why she decided to get the eyeball tattoo, Gallinger said it would help ‘make me feel more at home in my body’.

She still hopes surgery will stop her condition from getting worse.
