The driver of the Cadillac Escalade escape with minor injuries.

Police said a law enforcer saw the Plata driving the Tundra recklessly before the crash. Authorities added that alcohol and/or drugs may have been a factor in the accident.

It appears that the Tundra ran a red light at the intersection and plowed into the Cadillac. Video from a nearby business establishment showed the moment of the crash. And it was horrific!

“Just like a bomb explosion with the flame,” said business owner Samir Fadel, whose CCTV camera captured the ‘explosion’ at around 11:20 PM Friday.

“In the video you see the explosion and the SUV rolling down,” Fadel added.

“It was pushed so hard that the SUV crashed into the tree and shaved off some of the stuff on the tree and landed in the shopping center across the street.”

The deaths of Necitas Santa Maria, Leonicelle Abaigar and Andrea follows the deaths of five other US-based Filipinos in the same week. Days earlier Audie Trinidad and his four daughters were killed in Delaware.
