Just like last week, Phoenix Petroleum will decrease gasoline and diesel prices ahead of other oil companies. A bigtime oil price rollback has been announced by Phoenix effective Saturday, October 27, 2018.

In an announcement on Friday, Phoenix Petroleum said it will cut gasoline prices by P1.65 per liter and diesel by P0.60 per liter. These will be effective at 6:00 AM of Saturday in all Phoenix gasoline stations nationwide!

The is the third week in a row that oil prices have been rolled back, and the second consecutive week of BIGTIME price cuts. According to oil industry sources, the price adjustments reflect international oil trading price trends of the past week.

“Crude fell to its lowest since late August on Wednesday, pressured by concern that demand is weakening and supply is ample even as US sanctions loom on oil exporter Iran. It is a sign that supply is plentiful,”said Deputy Secretary Felix Fuentebella of the Department of Energy.

Other oil companies are expected to make similar adjustments, probably on Sunday or Monday.

All these is welcome news to  motorists most of whom are trekking to the provinces later next week for the All Saints’ Day break.
