UPDATED Cancelled Flights for December 25 & 26 Due to Typhoon ‘Nina’

What a time for flights to be cancelled! But, of course, it’s all because of Typhoon #NinaPH, which is expected to make landfall in Bicol today, Christmas Day.

Cancelled flights of PAL & Cebu Pacific have been announced.

The cancelled flights of PAL and Cebu Pacific for Christmas Day and December 26 have been announced. And the list may get longer depending on how strong ‘Bagyong Nina’ will get, and where it will hit. Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific will make additional cancelled flights announcements as the need arises.

Meanwhile, #NinaPH intensified further overnight before it makes landfall in the Bicol region. According to the latest weather bulletin from PAGASA, ‘Bagyong Nina’ maintained its path and is expected to make landfall in Catanduanes this afternoon or in the early evening.

SIGNAL #3 is already up over the provinces of Catanduanes, Albay, Camarines Norte and Camerines Sur. These areas will experience 121 kph to 170 kph winds, and those in the coastal areas should beware of storm surge which may reach a height of up to 2.5 meters.

SIGNAL #2 is up over Quezon including Polillo Island, Marinduque, Masbate including Ticao and Burias Islands, Sorsogon, Oriental Mindoro, Batangas, Laguna and Romblon, and Northern Samar.

SIGNAL #1 is raised over METRO MANILA, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Southern Nueva Vizcaya, Southern Quirino, Zambales, Pampanga, Tarlac, Bulacan, Cavite, Rizal, Aurora and Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Island; Aklan, Capiz, Samar, Eastern Samar, Biliran, Leyte and Bantayan Island
