Christmas 2018: Ayala Avenue Aglow with 1 Million Christmas Lights (PHOTOS)

From 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM daily this Christmas season, Ayala Avenue will be aglow with its decor for Christmas 2018. The much-awaited holiday lights in Makati City were inaugurated tonight, November 5, and Filipinos will not be disappointed with that they will see.

Every year, the Christmas lights and decor of Ayala Avenue in Makati City is one of the most anticipated. And they might have outdone themselves this year by using 1 million LED lights depicting different church altars all over the Philippines.

The brightly-lit displays along Makati CBD’s main avenue shows depictions of five church altars: Santuario de San Antonio in Forbes Park, San Miguel de Arcangel in Cebu, Molo Church in Iloilo, Immaculate Conception Church in Northern Mindanao, and the San Sebastian Church.

Aside from the altars, symbols from the 12 days of Christmas can also bee seen along Ayala Avenue.

From the first photos of the displays posted online, Ayala Avenue’s Christmas displays are a sight to behold, and very Instagramable!
