Good News: Big-Time Gasoline & Diesel Price Rollback Expected June 26

The prices of gasoline and diesel are going down! And it’s going to happen as early as Tuesday, June 26. That’s because the price of imported oil has gone down quite significantly the past week.

The official fuel price decreases won’t be known until Monday (That’s when local oil companies make their announcements) but the price cut is expected to be ‘big-time’.

According to sources in the Department of Energy (DOE), expect gasoline, diesel and kerosene price cuts to hover in the following range:

Gasoline – P1.20 to P1.30 per liter
Diesel – P0.90 to P1.00 per liter
Kerosene – P0.80 to P0.90 per liter

And here’s more good news: prices are expected to go down again in the coming weeks. This after OPEC and its oil-producing allies agreed to raise output thereby decreasing prices.
