LOOK Beyonce Leads 2017 Grammy Nomination List with 9

And the Grammy goes to… The nominations for this year’s Grammy Awards have been announced, and its Beyonce leading the list for her hit song “Formation” and album “Lemonade”. Beyonce  received 9 2017 Grammy nominations the winners of which will be announced in February  next year.

With the nine nominations this year, Beyonce is now the most nominated female artist in Grammy history with 62. She has previously won 20 Grammy awards.

Aside from Beyonce, also racking up multiple nods for 2017 are Rihanna, Kanye West and Drake with eight each.

Adele received multiple Grammy nominations again, as expected, for her hit ballad ‘Hello’ and album ’25’. Adele previously won all three top Grammy awards in one year – Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year – in 2012 for her hit compilation ’19’.

Pop star Justin Bieber, who has only won 1 Grammy previously despite a string of hits, is nominated four times for 2017 – Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal for ‘Purpose’, and song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for ‘Love Yourself’.
