Jeron Teng STABBED, 2 Other La Salle Players Injured Outside BGC Club

Alaska player Jeron Teng has been stabbed outside a club in Bonifacio Global City (BGC)! Teng, who played for Alaska just hours earlier, was with two former La Salle teammates during the incident. Along with Teng, Norbert Torres and Thomas Torres were reportedly injured as well.

Sketchy reports on social media said Jeron Teng, Thomas Torres and Norbert Torres were outside Early Night Club at The Fort in the early hours of Sunday when the stabbing occured. No details why Jeron’s group was attacked or who the attackers were. However, some Twitter posts said Teng and his two friends were taken to St. Luke’s Medical Center.

Hours earlier, Jeron Teng played for Alaska in the PBA against GlobalPort. There is no official statement yet from the Alaska team on Teng’s condition or about the incident.

UPDATE: Jeron Teng Stabbing & Arrest  of Suspects:

The suspects in the attack on Teng and his friends have been arrested. According to Rappler, the suspects have been identified as Fil-Am Edmar Manalo, Joseph Varona and Willard Basili. A heated argument outside Early Night Club led to a brawl, and ended in the stabbing of Jeron Teng in the body. Thomas Torres also sustained an injury on the arm.

The incident occurred around 2:30 AM Sunday.
