Judy Ann Santos Remembers Her Idol, Anthony Bourdain: “My heart… RIP chef”

Among the local celebrities grieving the death of Anthony Bourdain is actress Judy Ann Santos. An accomplished cook herself, Judy looked back at the time she met Bourdain when he was in Manila several years ago.

In her Instagram, Judy Ann posted photos of the meeting. Together with good friend Beth Tamayo, Juday shared photos of the celebrity chef signing her copy of his book ‘Nasty Bits’.

“Mr. Bourdain.. i could still remember the first time i saw you..,” she wrote in the caption. “Ang tangkad tangkad pala nito? Nakakatakot sya…”

“Bigla akong napa inglis ng diretso nung kinausap na ko. Ibang klaseng kaba at kilig at the same time.. rest in peace our global ambassador…,” Judy Ann Santos Agoncillo added.

In another Instagram post, the one announcing Anthony Bourdain’s death, she wrote, “My heart… 💔💔 😢😢 rest in peace chef..”

Her husband, Ryan Agoncillo, himself a good cook, shared Juday’s sentiment. 

“goodbye for now sir you are an inspiration,” he wrote on Instagram.

Bourdain committed suicide in France on Friday.
