Mang Zaldy said he is willing to take a drug test to prove that police accusations that his son was a drug runner for him is false. But he said the police who Killed Kian should also be tested.

Zaldy delos Santos also denied knowing the police witness, and said he has not seen that person before. Kian’s father was talking about ‘Lando’, a drug suspect arrested in Caloocan City whom the police presented to the media as their witness that Kian delos Santos was allegedly a drug runner.

He added that the 17-year old Grade 11 student was a drug runner of a certain Neneng, who is now a subject of police’s follow-up operations.

Police have always maintained that Kian was involved in drugs. Though not a user, Caloocan police said he was an identified courier in the area. During the bloody raid last week, police operative said Kian ran away as they approached and fired back at them. He was subsequently shot and killed by policemen.
