MMFF Official entries

MMFF 2018 Selection Committee has completed the official entries.

The eight official entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2018 have been revealed. This after the MMFF Executive Committee (Execom) announced on Tuesday the final four official entries that were added to the previously announced four films.

Rainbow’s Sunset, One Great Love, Mary Marry Me and Otlum have been named as the final four official entries to MMFF 2018. These movies now join Aurora; Fantastica: The Princess, The Prince, and the Perya; Girl In The Orange Dress; and Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles, which were named official entries several months ago.

The last four films to make it to the December festival are a mix of drama, romance and horror, themes that have proven to be very popular with viewers of the MMFF. Of the last four films to be named, there is great interest in Rainbow’s Sunset, a drama that stars two of Philippine cinema’s living legends – Eddie Garcia and Gloria Romero.

Rainbow’s Sunset may not be a contender for the top grossing film of MMFF 2018, but it will surely fare well come awards night.
