North Korea Watch Out! US Successfully Tests ICBM Interceptor Over Pacific

In a warning to Kim Jong-un, the United States showed that its anti-missile defense system can intercept ICBMs from North Korea. On Tuesday, the US military successfully tested an anti-inter continental ballistic missile system that shot down a mock nuclear nuclear warhead over the Pacific Ocean.

The test comes just two days after North Korea’s latest ballistic missile into the sea near Japan. Kim Jong-un’s latest missile launch showed his defiance of international pressure and threats of more sanction as North Korea shows its missile capability to the whole world. In its latest pronouncements, North Korea says it is capable of launching ICBMs that can reach the United States, and warned that the next missile launch will surprise the Americans.

While Donald Trump says he wants to maintain peace, he will not think twice about military action against North Korea if it becomes necessary. American warships have been deployed to East Asia to show Kim Jong-un that the US is prepared and will not be cowed by North Korean posturing.

Even from afar, the launch of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) interceptor can be seen as it was fired from the Vandenberg Air Force base in California and struck a target above the Pacific Ocean.
