Oops! Police Confiscate Bong Revilla’s Cellphone After Selfie in Facebook Post

Former senator Bong Revilla no longer has a cellphone inside his detention cell, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP). Revilla’s mobile phone was confiscated after he posted a selfie and Facebook post on the fourth anniversary of his detention.

The photo above was Bong Revilla’s selfie. He posted it on his Facebook page on June 20, the fourth anniversary of his surrender and detention on plunder charges.

When ADOBO Today stumbled on that post, we asked why Mr. Revilla had a cellphone inside his jail cell. And with internet access as well. Hours later, his police jailers must have found out and the phone was confiscated.

The Facebook post has has also been removed. In fact, all recent posts have been deleted as well, including his Father’s Day greeting and recent photos with his family which were still there on the evening of June 20.

To his police jailers, are you sure you didn’t know about his mobile phone? Baka naman you just confiscated it because his selfie went viral? While you’re at it, please check baka si De Lima may cellphone din. She seem to be very updated with what’s going on outside.

In Revilla’s Facebook post, he bemoaned the four years of his life that he lost. Time that should have been spent with family and loved ones. (Read his full post here.)

Bong Revilla wrote that he hopes ‘justice will be served’: “… makamit ko ang hustisya.”

We said this two this ago and we will say it again here: Justice HAS been served. That’s the reason why he is in jail!
