‘Prince Louis’: New Royal Baby Named Prince Louis Arthur Charles

The new royal baby of Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Windsor, has been named Louis Arthur Charles, aka Prince Louis. So, where did his three names come from? According to royal observers, the names all have connections to his father and grandfather.

‘Louis’ is a nod to Lord Louis Mountbatten, A father figure to Prince Charles and the uncle of Price Louis great grandfather, Prince Philip. ‘Arthur’ is the middle name of Prince William, while ‘Charles’, of course, is his grandfather’s name.

Prince Louis is the fifth in line to the British throne, displacing Prince Harry to sixth.
