After failing to make the cut in the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival. ‘Super Parental Guardians’ has come back with a vengeance. It’s as if the movie is proving the MMFF wrong in its decision to screen only ‘quality’ films this year. With the lucrative two-week Christmas holidays out of its reach, Star Cinema released the film ahead of the 2016 MMFF, and in more theaters at that!

Showing in more than 300 movie houses nationwide beginning last Wednesday, a holiday, the latest Vice Ganda movie now threatens to break all box office records with its run. With box office receipts of more than P150 million on its fourth day only, who knows how much ‘Super Parental Guardians’ will earn until Christmas!

The highest-grossing film of all time in the Philippines is another Vice Ganda – Coco Martin movie — last year’s ‘Beauty and the Bestie’ with a total domestic gross of P526,000,000. Will ‘Super Parental Guardians’ break this record?
