Terrence Romeo Brawl Caught on Video: CCTV Camera Shows What Really Happened

Basketball star Terrence Romeo was apparently involved in a another brawl. However, Romeo played down the bar fight and said CCTV video taken inside the shows he was not involved.

The incident happened inside Guilly’s bar along Tomas Morato in Quezon City early Thursday morning. Terrence Romeo was with some friends when the fight broke out. However, true to what Romeo said, the Gilas Pilipinas and TNT player was not involved.

It appears that the brawl happened around him. The CCTV video shows Romeo talking to someone when a man approached him from behind. Suddenly, the man was punched  and commotion and fight ensued soon after.

According to a source who spoke to Spin.ph, Terrence Romeo was no involved. 

“As you can see he was talking to (Brian) Heruela and was grabbed to his surprise. A fan/bystander was the one who beat the guy while Terrence was pushed aside.”

Aside from the CCTV video, another video taken outside the bar emerged online.

The two groups, Romeo’s friends and the ones that started  the fight, were taken by police to the station for questioning but were later released.

In a statement on his Twitter account, Terrence said both camps have worked things out.

“I’m in my house right now. I’m not held up in any prison or station. No need to make a fuss. Watch the cctv i believe its somewhere in social media right now.I didnt do anything.Let the video speak for itself.Anyway both camps are okay naman na. Goodnight.”

Romeo is one of the Gilas Pilipinas players  awaiting the decision of FIBA after they were involved in a bench-clearing brawl against Australia last week.
