Grace Poe is no longer the top choice for senator in the 2019 midterm elections. At least, that’s what the latest SWS senatorial survey says. Poe has been overtaken by Cynthia Villar.

The latest SWS survey for the 2019 senatorial elections was released on Thursday. It was commissioned by Francis Tolentino, presidential adviser on political affairs and himself a probable candidate for the 2019 elections. But, interestingly, Tolentino failed to make it to the Magic 12 based on the survey he commissioned.

The SWS survey also showed one glaring information – re-electionist senators are making it hard for first-timers to crack the Magic 12. According to the survey, only Bato dela Rosa and Imee Marcos made it to the Magic 12. And they displaced two other re-electionists who are in the 13th and 14th spots – Bam Aquino and JV Ejercito.

First-timers Bong Go, Agot Isidro, Harry Roque, Maria Lourdes Sereno, Jiggy Manicad, Erin Tanada, Gary Alejano, Jose Manuel Diokno and Larry Gadon occupy the 16th to 24th spots, respectively.

Where’s Mocha Uson? Out of the picture! 😀
