Flooded Church Wedding – A couple decided to push through with their wedding despite the flood brought by habagat rains. A video of the bride walking to the altar inside a flooded church has gone viral.

Habagat rains flooded many areas in Metro Manila and Luzon, including Hagonoy, Bulacan. Despite the flood, Jobel and Jefferson delos Angeles pushed through with their wedding.

In a video that has now gone viral on social media, bride Jobel Banarez can be seen wading though the murky water inside the Sto. Rosario Church in Hagonoy on Saturday morning. Other members of the entourage can also be seen wading through the flood to the altar.

Netizens praised the couple for their determination. In a social media post, Rated K host Korina Sanchez also praised Jobel and Jefferson and added that their story is worthy to be featured on Rated K!

“While I sit comfortably in my home watching the hard and cruel rain, I cant bear the thought of others suffering helplessly, both humans and animals,” Korina wrote in the caption as she reposted the video.
