#WalangPasok August 11: Classes Suspension Announcements Due to Heavy Rainfall

#WalangPasok classes suspended

Classes have again been suspended today due to bad weather.

#WalangPasok August 11 – Heavy rainfall due to habagat have prompted #walangpasok announcements in several areas today, Saturday, August 11. Several LGUs have suspended classes in all levels due to the flooding the rains have caused.

Bagyong #KardingPH is already on its way out of the Philippine Area of responsibility (PAR) but it continues to enhance the southwest monsoon. Furthermore, a tropical depression west of the Philippines but outside PAR is contributing to more rains.

As a result, moderate to heavy rainfall is being felt in Luzon. PAGASA forecasts that the rains will continue through the weekend.
