#WalangPasok June 14: Classes Suspended Due to Habagat, New LPA Spotted

Classes in some areas are still suspended Thursday, June 14. #WalangPasok has been declared by a number of LGUs due to rains brought by habagat. Meanwhile, a new low pressure area (LPA) will further induce the southwest monsoon.

#WalangPasok classes suspended

#WalangPasok again in some areas to due monsoon rains.

Will classes in Metro Manila be suspended? According to the latest #WalangPasok announcements, Metro Manila cities are not included (yet) but the weather in the next few hours may change this.

A new LPA was spotted by PAGASA east of Taiwan. While this poses no threat to the Philippines, the LPA will induce the monsoon (habagat) further. According to Mang Tani of GMA News, the LPA will particularly induce the monsoon in the northern parts of the country.
